Intellectual property, described honestly.
Global Horizon develops technology internally and may license intellectual property from strategic partners where applicable. This page is deliberate about what is owned, what is licensed, and what is filed.
We keep these distinct.
Intellectual property language is only useful if it is precise. Global Horizon separates the following, and does not blur them.
Internally developed technology
Technology engineered by Global Horizon, which the company may own or hold rights to.
Intellectual property of other entities
IP owned by third parties or strategic partners. Global Horizon does not claim ownership of intellectual property it does not own.
Technologies that may be licensed
Technology that may be developed with or licensed from strategic IP partners, including CIVITERA GovTech Inc., where applicable.
Filed applications vs filings in preparation
An application is described as filed only once it has actually been filed. Work still in preparation is described as such.
Trademarks & product brands
GZON™ is a product brand of Global Horizon Inc. Trademark notices are handled on dedicated legal pages.
Software & commercial licensing
Software and commercial licensing models are offered where a technology is ready and rights permit.
On CIVITERA and partner IP. Where applicable, selected technologies may be developed with or licensed from strategic IP partners, including CIVITERA GovTech Inc. Global Horizon does not own CIVITERA's intellectual property, and does not present a proposed or future licensing relationship as an existing executed license. Any specific licensing arrangement is described as executed only when it is documented.
A clear path from inquiry to agreement.
For partners interested in licensing, the process is designed to be straightforward.
Inquiry
A partner identifies a technology or capability of interest and makes contact.
Scope & rights review
Both sides confirm what the technology is, its status, and what rights are available to license.
Terms
A licensing model is proposed: field of use, territory, exclusivity, and commercial terms.
Agreement
Terms are documented in an executed agreement before anything is described as licensed.
Clarity, fairness, flexibility.
The company's licensing approach is built to be clear about status, fair in terms, and flexible across fields of use. The same discipline that governs how we describe patents governs how we describe licenses.
If evidence does not yet support a firm claim, the language stays conditional until it does.
Discuss a licensing opportunity.
Tell us which technology or capability you are interested in, and we will start with a scope and rights review.
